Description

Torrential rain has caused Batang Ayumi River to overflow which later triggered flashflood in Padang Sidempuan District, North Sumatra Province. The BNPB reported that the flashflood killed 5 people and damaged 332 houses. 1,538 people were affected by the flashflood. 1,413 of it were reportedly displaced. The BNPB and local authority served the evacuees and conducted reconstruction to recover the situation.
