Indonesia, Flash Flood in Bima (West Nusa Tenggara)

➢ Chronology: Triggered by high intensity rain which caused the river to overflow in Pandai Village on Monday 08 April 2024 at 15.30 WITA

➢ Location:
● Woha District
- Andai Village

➢ Casualties:
● 145 families affected

➢ Material Losses:
● 145 housing units affected
● Water level height 20 - 40 cm

➢ Effort:
● The BPBD Team coordinates with the sub-district head, police chief, Koramil and local villages affected and carries out observations, data collection and rapid assessment as well as emergency disaster management of affected areas and the data collection process.
● Coordinate further with the relevant Department regarding impacts and handling as well as their authority
● Coordinate with local villages, sub-district officials, related agencies at regional and West Nusa Tenggara provincial levels

➢ Current Conditions:
● Currently the flood has receded and residents are cleaning up the mud
