Description
Low Pressure Area (LPA) in the southern Philippines has brought heavy rain and strong wind which generated flood and landslide in Manado, Minahasa Utara, Tomohon, Minahasa, Minahasa Selatan, Sangihe and Sitaro of North Sulawesi Province. As of now, the impacts are: - 19 death - 733 injured - 15,000 evacuees - 90,000 people affected The local authorities with the responding agencies are now conducted emergency response. Damage and loss assessment is still ongoing. The government declared the emergency period from 15-28 January 2014.
