Description
Health Crisis Center, Ministry of Health, reported the start drought in Tasikmalaya City, West Java Province, from 1 August 2018. Eight districts were affected as water well of the people runs dry, i.e. in Cihiedung, Cipedes, Tawang, Indihiang, Cibeureum, Tamansari, and Mangkubumi districts. A total of 988 families / 3438 people were affected. Local disaster management agency (BPBD) of Tasikmalaya city have started to distribute clean water to the affected people, i.e. 6000 liter of water in the first dropping. Local police stations were engaged to maintain security.
