Affected Area/s
- Jember
➢ Chronology: On Thursday, 2 July 2026, at 13:00 WIB (Western Indonesia Time), an assessment conducted by the Jember Regency Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) found that, due to the onset of the dry season, several villages in Pakusari and Kalisat subdistricts were experiencing drought conditions. As a result, many residents faced difficulties accessing clean water. The nearest available water source, a drilled well located approximately 600 metres from residential areas, could not yet be utilised because electricity meters and a piped distribution network had not been installed. In addition, some household wells experienced a decline in water levels, while others produced muddy and turbid water, rendering them unsuitable for daily use.
