Drought has affect several areas in Northern Lampang especially in the Wang Nuea district

This incident has caused the following impact:
500 families were affected
10,000 rai or 16 sqkm of cornfield has been affected

Additionally, as of 1 April 2014), DDPM reported that the drought has affected in total, 34 provinces, 218 districts and 12,033 villages since October 2013. The detail area is as follows:
1. North, 13 provinces
2. Northeast, 8 provinces
3. Central, 4 provinces
4. East, 3 provinces
5. South, 6 provinces

Local disaster management agencies and related stakeholders provided necessary actions for response and relief of this incident.
