Description
The Tropical Depression 02W, or locally named as "Crising" which brought heavy rain has caused flashflood in Cebu. Nine people were reportedly to have died in Carmen and Danao City, Cebu. Ten people were also injured because of the incident. The Provincial Disaster Risk and Management office also reported the damages of 73 houses and lifelines disruption. The affected barangays in Carmen included Barangays Dawis Norte, Dawis Sur, Ipil, Puente , Cogon west and Cantumog.

The local authority provided assistance to the 200 flood affected families by distributing tents and moving them to the evacuation centres. Food and relief supplies were also distributed.
