Floods in the District. Hulu Sungai Tengah, Prov. South Borneo

Chronology:
• Due to high intensity rain that occurred on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at 23.00 WITA

Update: Saturday, January 16, 2021 10.00 WIB

Location:
• Kec. Barabai
• Kec. A mess
• Kec. Benawa Stone
• Kec. Batang Alai Selatan
• Kec. Batang Alai Utara
• Kec. Pandawan

Fatalities :
• 5 people Dead
• ± 16,100 families / 64,400 people affected
• ± 11,200 people were displaced

Material Disadvantages:
• ± 16,100 housing units affected
• TMA ± 50 - 300 cm

Effort :
• TRC BPBD Kab. Hulu Sungai Tengah conducted a rapid assessment, coordinated with relevant agencies and together with the joint team carried out the evacuation of victims
• BPBD together with Dinsos have opened a public kitchen

Advanced Condition:
• The Regent will determine the Emergency Response Status for TMT Floods 14-21 January 2021
• Pkl. 10.00 WIB the weather is sunny and cloudy
• Floods still persist
