On the afternoon of July 29, Mr. Nguyen Binh Duong, deputy head of the Hoa Thanh hamlet, Xuan Hoa commune, H. Ke Sach (Soc Trang), said about 3 am on the same day, the flood protection dike section and the agricultural traffic route. Tens of meters of villages are landslides that sweep away all rock and concrete into Hau river.

According to Mr. Duong, the situation of landslide here is complicated; parts of the dyke are at risk of being submerged into the river. Through the survey, the dike section and rural road with a length of about 30 m were completely eroded into the river. The length calculated from the foot of the landslide is deep in the land over 10 m. "This is a unique rural road, a lifeline for local people to go to Cai Con market, TT.An Lac Thon, H. Ke Sach." Therefore, in the past few days when this landslide happened, more than 1,000 households were divided and isolated, ”Mr. Duong informed.
